Slow Cooker Chilli Con Carne
Chilli con Carne is one of my all time favourite comfort food. Batch cooking this recipe is a great way to save time and have a stash in your freezer. Double this recipe just about fits in a 3.5 litre slow cooker.
Coconut Cardomom Rice Pudding
This sugar free rice pudding recipe is so creamy with the perfect texture and sweetness. A perfect dessert for all the family including baby and toddler. This can be prepared in advance and frozen so you have a supply on hand.
Baby Friendly Cashew & Basil Pesto
This pesto is a great snack for babies and toddlers. You could serve it on a plain unsalted rice cake or cracker or on slices of apple. It's absolutely delicious on fish or stirred through mashed potato. It will keep for a few days in the fridge once you put a little layer of oil on top to keep the air from getting at it.
Baby Seeded Scones
These buttermilk scones are suitable for babies from 6 months+ as they are low in salt and no added sugar. They can be frozen too so you’ve snacks at the ready when you need them!
Chicken and Apple Balls
These chicken balls make great party food for both kids and adults. They are delicious served both hot and cold and are a great idea for school lunch boxes. These can be offered as a finger food to your baby from as early as 7 or 8 months as they are nice and soft and easy for your baby to handle.
Date & Oat Sugar Free Granola Bars
This date and oat granola bar recipe is so easy and delicious. A great snack for busy kids and toddlers as there is no added sugar or sweeteners. A very handy nut free lunchbox idea.
Sweet Potato Falafel
These sweet potato falafels are a yummy healthy snack or finger food for your baby and all the family. Lovely served in a wrap with hummus and salad or mezze style with tabbouleh, tahini dip and pitta. A great lunch box idea for kids.
